Career Goals

First and foremost, I believe that one's interest is one's best director. Ever since I was a primary school student, I had a strong desire for a teaching career and I have known that facilitating someone’s learning is one of my biggest interests. Under favour of my undergraduate and graduate studies, my biggest career goal to achieve is to have a broad vision in how people learn and ways to facilitate human growth through the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning environments.

More specifically, my career goal is to be a knowledgeable scholar in a well-recognized university in the field of Learning, Design and Technology. To be able to achieve this goal, I will master both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to some extent that would inform my research and help me think out of the box, develop my research skills to start with academic writing and gaining a better understanding of the role of theory for designing studies in our field, and improve my teaching skills that will lead me respond to the growing demand for meaningful and relevant teaching and meet the challenges of the 21st century.
